The ’60s Vintage middle gives my Showmaster excellent clarity, chime and string separation. By itself it sounds balanced and lively; paired with the neck or bridge, it produces convincing quack and sparkle. It complements the warmer Grey Monterey beautifully and gives the guitar much of its bell-like character.

Johan is an a true craftsman. The Grey Monterey neck I put in my project guitar has clear smooth woody and expressive bloom.

The Grey Monterey gives my Showmaster a warm, woody neck sound with excellent string separation and bell-like chime. It responds beautifully to playing dynamics—sweet and clear when played gently, but capable of a vocal growl when pushed. Combined with the middle pickup, it produces plenty of sparkle and quack. A very expressive pickup with real personality.

I wanted to swap the Dimarzio Fusion's my Ibanez RGAIX6FM came with because they were too muddy. These are the polar opposites. They have a learning curve because they are so clear you can't hide your mistakes!
Got recommended these by Morgan at Musikanten, Umeå. He sent me audio samples comparing these to Fishman's, BKP's, SD's and these sounded the clearest. They work for a variety of musical genres. I play Metal and Fusion. I met Per Nilsson at House of Metal last year so of course I had to tell him that I got these for my guitar.

Cannot thank Lundgren Pickups enough for the M6. Wish I could select the spacing (50mm vs. 53 mm) from the shop website directly. Other than that, the sound is just otherworldly. Tusen tack! 666% recommended!

Pickup came OEM in my Schecter Banshee Mach 7. I have gone through many pickups over the years, including Duncan's Custom Shop. Most were good but none of them can do everything as well as the M7 does.

G# extreme metal and clarity with agression are unmatched yet somehow versitle enough for many other styles. Yes it is somewhat compressed but does so beautifully and takes a boost pedal exceptionally well. Do yourself a favor and ditch the batteries and actives!

I have the m7 aswell. I think these are even sweeter, more complex, more articulate. The neck is incredible compared to the m7 neck which is already amazing, but this has slightly lower and more balanced output. The chug is great, so is the singing quality of these pickups. Well done Lundgren.

Been trying make one of my old guitars sound good for quite some time.
It´s actually my first "real" guitar which been modified a lot. Acoustically it always sounded great but when played thru an amp, not so good. Original pickup sounded very muddy with bad separation between strings. Tried to change to another pickup which sounded better but then i got problem with feedback when using distortion. I´ve heard nothing but good stuff about Lundgren pickups from friends and artists so i did some research and figured that the Black Heaven pickup was for me. I contacted Johan and explained my problem and also gave him info about my guitar (a strat style Kramer with Floyd Rose) and that i mainly play hardrock but not metal. Johan told me that it was a great choise but that i needed a F-spaced version of the Black Heaven (which you can´t find on the webpage) to optimize the sound. Standard would work but on my guitar the F-spaced version will work better. I´m so happy that i contacted Johan. About 2 hours after our conversation i got an e- mail that the pickup was on it´s way and 2 days later i received it. My guitar now sounds better then ever and have the string separation i was hoping for and also some overall clarity which is hard to explain. The guitar is equipped with a True Temperament neck and it feels like this pickup enhances the effect of the better intonation True Temperament provides. And no feedback issues anymore. Så hur blev resultatet då, när jag bytte ut mina Quarter Pounders SPB-4 mot den här fantastiska Lundgrens tillverkade PB90 P-bass pickupen.
Jag sökte efter ett mera genomträngande, modernt och "tonsäkert" ljud som är bra för bla metall musik, och här levererade PB90 över förväntan med råge. Jag tänker att man vill ju höra tonerna även och det går lite fortare, men samtidigt som E strängen inte tappar i tydlighet.
PB90 svarade upp mot kraven, det jag kallar för klara genomträngande tydliga toner över hela registret. Ljudbilden är sedan också komplex och det finns karaktär - egentligen var det bara att plugga in basen spela, det blev bra på en gång.

PB90 tycker jag kräver mindre "fix" just kring ljudbilden och den blir liksom perfekt direkt. Möjligheten att tweaka ljudet är sedan upp till dig som player. PB90 pickupsen levererar också ”grymt” starkt tryck och det är uppskattat.

Jag tycker att det är en modern touch på hur en P bass pick up skall låta, och som sagt tillverkad i Sverige, som sagt man får bara lyfta på hatten.

Vad gäller kundservice som är det nog det bästa bemötande jag någonsin fått, och jag får verkligen passa på att tacka Johan för det.
