In Sweden these pickups are exclusively PRE-sold by These Go to 11, Stockholm December 2018.
A medium output humbucker set with maximum tone. After the success of Lundgren/BJFE Stratocaster set and Telecaster set we have got a lot of requests for a humbucker set in this cool collaboration. A full bodied set with great balance.
The Bridge pickup is getting its full frequency range from an AlNiCo 4 magnet. And for a twist of ours we use Heavy Formvar Wire in this bridge pickup which is a first for us in a humbucker. The heavier insulation give less capacitance in the coil and the tone is bold and blooming. This Medium/Vintage output bridge pickup has enough power for most situations. Both pickups are made with our own parts including bobbins and threaded polepieceholder.
The neck pickup we made a tad brighter than any of our neck pickups made before. The AlNiCo 4 magnet used in combination with careful winds of plain Enamel AWG 42 wire keeps the low end down (bass in control) and lets the midrange and treble shine through. Just like you want it.
WHEN BOTH PICKUPS ARE USED TOGETHER THE TONE IS WIDE

Absolutely fantastic set, these cut through the mix like butter and work great with basically everything from low-gain to low tuning light chug. Neck pickup has an unbelievable clarity and pick sensitivity unheard of in a neck humbucker on a bassy/boomy shorter-scale LP-style configuration. Sustain is simply unreal. Not trying to emulate some mythical PAF-correct Eq and focusing on balancing makes it extremely versatile for recording. If you plug straight to a Marshall JCM800 with no pedals in-between these might sound at first glance like they're missing some seasoning (the usual Alnico IV flat thing) but once you try these you'll want to add the colouring on your plugins and not have them baked-in hardcoded into the pups. A well-kept secret, a hidden gem this BJFE set is - for how long I don't know!

Clarity, balance and the right amount of output to work well in almost all situations, very PAF-like feel and tone. Replaced the stock Burstbuckers in my ’57 Custom reissue with the BJFE set and they sound great in an all mahogany guitar with that distinct alnico 4 midrange growl and top end airiness.
Got blown away by this one recently, I went in blind not knowing how good it was, never head it or about it, what a surprise! i got it in the neck and the clean tones that come out of this one are the best have ever heard coming out of my guitars; will probably get another one in the neck of next guitar
This is for me one prefect upgrade on my SG std-75 I go from original Humbucker to this and results be very fine a little bit hotter and more dynamic between pickups and strings, i can adjust volume on each pickup adjust to original sound if i will so PERFECT :) delivery was with two "nickelhumbuckers" so you don't see this upgrade when you look at my guitar :)
